Boiled wanton can be eaten in many ways. In this version we mixed long time chopped pork with shrimp and veggies of the season wrapped using a thin wanton pastry. Due to the long time hand chopping the filling and the pastry wrap, upon boiling the wanton gets extra tasty. This dimsum is a good example of the process of dimsum handcraft makes the dimsum extra delicious.
Bring water to boil in a pot. When the water boils add the wantons and let it boil for 7 minutes. Discard the water. Tip: If you want a more tasty wanton, season water with salt and oil before it is boiling. In this way the wanton will have an improved texture and flavour.
